We're always looking for our next great book. Read the guidelines below and send us your work.

What We Publish

Twin Cities Press publishes literary and commercial fiction — novels and novellas across all genres, including literary fiction, mystery, thriller, romance, historical fiction, speculative fiction, and more.

Manuscript Requirements

  • Completed manuscripts only (no works-in-progress)
  • Novel length: 60,000–110,000 words
  • Novella length: 20,000–45,000 words
  • Standard manuscript format (double-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman)
  • File formats accepted: .docx or .pdf

What to Include

  • Query letter (1 page) including word count, genre, and brief synopsis
  • First 3 chapters or 50 pages (whichever is shorter)
  • Author bio (short paragraph)
  • Full synopsis (1–2 pages)

Response Times

We aim to respond to all queries within 8–12 weeks. Due to volume, we can only respond to submissions we wish to pursue further. If you haven't heard from us after 12 weeks, please consider your submission declined.

Simultaneous Submissions

Simultaneous submissions are accepted. Please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
